Monthly Archives: December 2007

I’ll be leaving for Lincoln, Nebraska on 29th of December. Too bad I couldn’t get a early January ticket, then I could go count down with my friends.

I am so excited I don’t really know what to bring other than my clothes. Although I don’t show much enthusiasm, I am actually quite exicited to feel cold, and see the outside world, but not quite excited to leave my family and friends, and all the wonderful food here though.

I made a promise to myself to update this blog regularly when I am in the US, and for those who are listening to me mumble to myself, I hope we could stay in contact through this website, and your websites as well.

I didn’t write anything for more than a week because I had so many things to do, and so many people to meet all of a sudden. I initially thought that the holidays would be free and easy, but it seems that it turned out the other way.

Things to do:

  1. Cut Garfield comic strips from the newspaper for my sister. Not easy you know, almost two years of newspaper to go through !
  2. Write letter for Eng Hong to ask for schlarship. By this officially promoted as ‘writer’ for all future official corespondence.
  3. Write articles for Aaron on personal finance. Hope wouldn’t get laughed at when the magazine is published.
  4. Clear out the clutter in my room, which are on my desk, in the drawers, in the cupboard, and on the floor.
  5. Back up my shows in CD-Rs before I leave for US.
  6. See or call all relatives in KL.
  7. See or call all relatives in Singapore.
  8. And more to be added…

But at least I have my VISA now, as well as all of my friends. And Ipoh’s good food becons !!

Spent two days in Leonard’s place with friends. The lamb chop we had tasted not bad, but the portion should be a little more.

The pancakes I did the nex morning was quite unsuccessful. Somehow it didn’t taste right. Maybe it was the non-stick pan we used, which the pancakes could not brown in it, or the honey that was crappy.

But it was quite a happy time with friends, and deep in my heart I felt that it was the last time I would see some of them before I go to the US. But anyway, I’ll be back in college for summer, so I’ll be seeing them again in quite a short time.

I have been sleeping too much lately. Maybe it is because there are no more exams!! [Until in the US la...] Got my VISA also on thursday. Now should be the time I tidy up my room and make a list of things I am bring to the US.
